This guide is meant to demonstrate some section styles that can be emulated across most StoryDesigns efforts. These are not intended to be limitations, but rather to show how content can potentially be framed to better align with the intent of a StoryDesign. Our goal is to provide a format that is inviting and easy for a visitor to consume, with each section having content that can be reviewed at a glance. These sections can be customized and other options can be considered to better accommodate topics that are being presented. Significant customization may require that time be added to the StoryDesigns projected completion date.

Accordion Section Title

Accordions are a great tool to use when large sections of content cannot be avoided. This option can be used to give the visitor the opportunity to see highlights of content that will be outlined within each section. The highlights are listed as expandable titles. When clicked they reveal a more in-depth description. This offers the visitor an opportunity to select portions of the section that are of greatest interest without necessarily reading all content within the section. An introduction paragraph such as this, often works well to accompany this section type. A paragraph of 100 words or less would be ideal.

Mosaic Image and Text Grid

It is recommended that this option be used sparingly, avoid using more than 2 instances within the same effort.
This section type acts as a good option for instances when longer multiple paragraph distribution is needed. Each row can accommodate a paragraph of approximately 100 words or 625 characters, and a complimentary image that would support the subject matter which pertains to the topic chosen for the section. It is not recommended that this section type include more than four consecutive rows. It is also recommended that this section type not be repeated more than two times within the same StoryDesign effort.
